Lac de Vassivière
One of France's largest artificial lakes, this a large
man-made reservoir of about 10 square kilometres.
It is situated on the Plateau de Millevaches in the départements of Creuse and
Haute Vienne.
Millevaches, vy the way, does not mean a thousand cows. Vach is a celtic word
for a spring.
